Another one added on the
bucket-list to our late night research in bed on the best things to do in Bali
with kids.
We felt like being big
kids today, (well one half of us was hung over and I will give you hint- it
wasn’t Mum!) but never the less we wanted to let our little inner kiddies out
to play.
So we embarked on a
short Taxi ride to Upside Down World in Denpasar, I think from Seminyak it took
around 20mins in the Taxi with really heavy traffic.
Once we got through the
doors we entered a nice cool counter area where we purchased our tickets – at
the time when we went in May there was a promo where we paid $15aud for adults
and $10 for kids, which got us entry into both Upside Down World and Magic
world, which was a 5 min cab ride away.
This place is literally
a series of rooms that have been turned upside down. So all the furniture is
now above you on the roof. This allowed us to walk through and give the
illusion we were hanging from crazy objects in the house.
The whole experience was
quite quick, as we had a guide taking us through the different rooms and taking
our photos. We didn’t really get a chance to wander through and take our own
funny photos, which would have been a lot more fun as our half of the family
are shy posing in front of others.
In the end though, the
photos were totally worth every cent. Here is some of the fun we had at Upside
Down World.
